So this is my adventure of creating Liam (the blue guy)'s robot arm. Originally it was just a bright blue arm, but I changed it 1. I did the wire-framing
this is the first layer. It is the "sculpt" for the arm, it is also the base for the wires running through it. It was pretty easy to sketch this in a minute or two. 2. The 2nd layer.
I made this layer to cover the hand and to add extra wires. I cleaned up around the edges and made the fingers look sharper. 3. The final layer.
the final layer was where I added the arm cases and added a dark blue for extra detail. I personally compare the final product to Tord's robot arm in Eddsworld: The End.
